Managing land and plantations regeneratively

General description

An important component for circularity in construction is the land and plantations, from which the materials are harvested. The quantity and character of materials that are harvested from regenaratively managed land, e. g. permacultures, agroforestry systems, or sustainably managed forests is an important parameter in every project to ensure a balanced ecosystem for generations to come. The quantity of material mass taken from a specific type of land-use should be well thought of while at the same time considering how this land is managed therafter.
